DARLENE S. BALLARD
Author, Speaker, and Storyteller
Darlene was born in Livermore, California. She and
her husband, Brett, have been married since 1980, and
have two children, Melissa and Jon, and two grandchildren
named Chloe and Elijah.
As an author, speaker, soloist,
and storyteller, Darlene uses her
talents to share the message of
salvation through Jesus Christ,
bringing hope to the hopeless and
restoration to the tattered.
INVOLVEMENT WITH TEEN CHALLENGE
Through God's leading, Darlene
first became involved with Teen
Challenge over 15 years ago and
began to bring the needs of Teen
Challenge to the public's awareness.
She served on the Advisory Board of
Teen Challenge for seven years and
continues to teach the ladies at
Teen Challenge. COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Darlene Ballard has shared her
testimony in many shelters and
prisons throughout her community.
She has held book signings at the
Mustard Seed and at Books-A-Million
in Columbus, Georgia.
MEMBERSHIPS AND COMMITTEES
Darlene served on the Special
Projects Committee and Evangelistic
Outreach of Teen Challenge of
Georgia for
seven years.
