About the Bethany House:

The Bethany House Crisis Center for Women came about to fulfill a desperate cry for help. Rebra Bone-Draper, working as a counselor received a call from a young lady needing to get off the street immediately. However, due to requirements for entry into most programs, that desperate call for help could not be answered. No one knows what became of that young woman, but a strong desire to insure similar calls would not go unanswered was placed in Rebra. With a heart for hurting women and call from God, Rebra started a crisis center for hurting women. Rebra Bone-Draper Evangelistic Ministries, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 Non-profit and Non-denominational ministry.

The house was named The Bethany House Crisis Center for Women and received their first “student” just prior to opening in June, 2003. Two live in staff provide counseling and monitor the house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most arrivals come straight from the street, broken homes or prison. We help them to receive assistance in finding and receiving medical treatment, obtaining state ID cards, and working with the legal system. A short stay ministry, The Bethany House works to help women Qualify for other long term Christian discipleship programs.
